CMS Approves Medisolv as a 2017 MIPS Qualified Registry for the Quality Payment Program

Columbia, MD, April 17, 2017 — Medisolv, a recognized leader in quality management and reporting solutions, has been approved as a MIPS Qualified Registry by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) for the Quality Payment Program (QPP) in 2017.

The Quality Payment Program was rolled out by CMS to implement MACRA legislation designed to fundamentally alter Medicare payments for clinician services. Eligible Clinicians (ECs), are required to submit their data across three categories to avoid a penalty or to earn bonuses based on performance.  QPP combines the previous physician reporting programs of PQRS, Meaningful Use and the Value-Based Modifier programs into a single pay-for-performance program.

As an approved 2017 Qualified Registry, Medisolv now has the ability to submit data for all MIPS Electronic Clinical Quality Measures (eCQMs) and supported MIPS Registry measures on behalf of individual ECs or group ECs.

“We are very pleased with achieving this new milestone,” said Dr. Zahid Butt, CEO of Medisolv. “As a Qualified Registry, we can now support quality reporting for clinician specialties, especially hospital-based clinicians, that are currently without sufficient available eCQMs to report. We continue to build our comprehensive quality management software and combine it with our team of experienced clinical consultants to provide a MIPS package which will help clinicians not just report, but excel in their performance across all MIPS categories.”
