Recent Projects

EHR Feasibility Testing with CMS and the Yale CORE group

Medisolv supported CMS’s Feasibility Assessment of EHR Core Clinical Data Elements (CCDE) for Risk Adjustment of Quality Measures Pilot. We analyzed the data from nine hospitals over the course of several months and tested to see how often and with what frequency the hospitals were capturing all 22 CCDE. These feasibility tests are what helped CMS determine the official 22 CCDE which are now used in the newly released CMS Hybrid measure.

Developing a Software Tool for the Department of Defense

Medisolv designed a software tool for measuring adverse events using the Institute for Healthcare Improvement’s (IHI) Global Trigger Tool (GTT) methodology. Medisolv successfully implemented the tool at all 53 of the Department of Defense’s Direct Care hospitals.

Helping Hospitals and Clinicians Successfully Meet Regulatory Requirements
